Exposed to the Light

… for everything that becomes visible is light. Therefore, it says, “Sleeper, awake! Rise from the dead, andChristwill shine on you.”

Ephesians 5:14.

The morning starts

With shining light,

And the day lies ahead

With hopeful hearts.

When exposed to light

We overcome the dread

Of darkness of the night.

Now with certainty we know

The shine of lucent beam

From God is are daily sign

That glow is for all to feel

The love of the eternal Divine

Coming to succor and to heal.

Everyone awake, arise from bed

And from your nightly

Toss with the dead.

Arise joyfully asJesusdid.

Be awake inChristeach day

Proclaiming the light shines

On and from you; not hid.

Daily we sing the ancient song,

“Rise, shine, the Glory of the LORD

Has dawned upon us from above,”

And every morning no need to long,

Hoping we live in the Light of love.

All sacred charity is now around.

Thus, we all can sing with one accord

The ancient song of glory light

And with joy proclaiming to be found

By God who seeks us in the night.
