Foreign Fruit

Ann's Pears

Pears – Water Color 4×6 – By Ann Bellais

I think I am amazed.

The tags on the fruit

announce that they

Have come from faraway places.

Apples from Argentina.

Pears from New Zealand.

How do they get here ready for

me to enjoy?

Suppose we are not to ask such

questions, are we?

Just eat apples from Argentina

and Pears from New Zealand
